Mediacompetence-Portfolio at TU Darmstadt goes Sustainable ( MeKoSus)

What is MeKoSus?

The media competence portfolio at TU Darmstadt prepares student teachers for the current challenges of a digitally shaped culture and society. The importance of raising awareness of sustainable development and teaching the didactic principles of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is increasing. For this reason, the media competence portfolio goes Sustainable focuses on raising awareness and opening up options for action in the context of sustainable digitalization.

What are we doing?

  • Testing of existing teaching and learning materials at the interface between media education and ESD
  • Independent (further) development of teaching and learning materials in haptic and/or multimedia form
