Institute of General and Vocational Education

The institute brings together research and teaching in the field of education and training at TU Darmstadt. Education at TU Darmstadt closely interconnects both general and vocational education and encompasses specifically the areas Technology Didactics and Fashion & Aesthetics. Our educational approach is also closely aligned with the key areas Natural Sciences and Technology. The institute offers within its teacher education programmes the opportunity to combine the various subjects taught at TU Darmstadt across disciplines both for future teachers at vocational schools and at secondary (grammar) schools.
