Dealing with difference reflectively as the goal of teacher education

Within this research focus, reflections and contemplations in teacher education are being explored with the intent to describe the characteristics and interlinked cause and effect of reflecting teaching situations critically within the context of heterogeneity.

Within the project “The Next Level” and in collaboration with Maria Theresa Meßner, an experimental game of “inclusion” is being developed for students in teacher education programmes and evaluated as a method to further their reflection competence.

Within another project and in collaboration with Dr. Anne Seifert, written reflections and contemplations of teaching situations based on reflection phases and depths are being investigated
